Forest Freeride's roaming reporter Helen Keller brings you the latest in mtb news and gossip.

Mary Carr pictured (courtesy of www.fattyre.co.uk) at her first downhill race of the season at Bringewood near Ludlow on March 3rd. The track was tight and technical through the forest. At times there wasn't much more than a handlebars' width between the trees!
Mary was still able to finish the first run despite coming together with a tree near the bottom of the course which resulted in a broken gear shifter. Her second run proved much better with Mary knocking off a full minute and a half, making her faster than some of the blokes.
Along with her first race under her belt, Mary also left the event with a medal for 2nd place in her class.
Good luck for the rest of the season Mary and we'll keep you informed of her progress.

Helen Keller is stoked
to have launched her own
T shirt collection

Helen the blind ewe, is an avid 5/10 shoes wearer but was initially unsure of which t shirt colours to choose. She eventually plumped for blue to match her own eyes and red to match all the party animals out there.

All tees are £11.99 posted to mainland UK.
